You'll emerge onto a grassy open area known as Mickleham Gallops. It traverses a series of hills in a clockwise loop north and east of Box Hill & Westhumble station: Norbury Park, Mickleham Downs, Headley Heath and finally Box Hill itself. The route has several fairly steep climbs and descents, including one long climb up a flight of steps.
